I think there might be some confusion. The
Interface Board
is the one with the twelve buttons and four LEDs on it. The
Project Board
is the small, squarish board that plugs into the brown connector on the main Fox board. Are you trying to program the Project Board?
If so, then plug the Project Board into the brown connector. If you have batteries connected to the Project Board, make sure they are removed first. In the Hardware Programmer window, make sure you select the Project Board as the target. The field should say "Foxonix Project Board (Socket)" This will cause the binary file to be loaded onto the Project Board instead of the development board.
Once the Project Board is programmed, you can remove it from the socket and use it stand-alone. If you're hooking up a button to the Project Board, one side of the button should be hooked up to the input pin on the board and the other side of the button should be hooked up to power.
